Amazon inventory planning built around your busy season
If most of your year happens in a few weeks, getting Amazon inventory right is worth more than almost anything else you do there. Run out in week two of your season and you lose the sales, the ranking and often the Buy Box. Overbuy and you pay storage on inventory that sits for eleven months.
We plan your inventory against your peak, not the calendar.
What we plan
- Your real season, by week. Built from your own sales history, not category averages.
- Backward from the peak. Production lead time, freight, prep and FBA check-in, with buffer for the weeks when all of them slow down.
- FBA capacity. Checked early, with a backup plan for replenishment if Amazon’s limits get tight.
- Staged shipments. Waves instead of one giant send, so you stay in stock without paying peak storage on everything at once.
- Ads and pricing around stock. No heavy spend into a season you’re under-stocked for, and no deep discounts that sell out your best weeks early.
- The end of the season. What’s left, where it goes, and what it costs to hold.
Seasons first, everything else second
Our first 90 days follow a set order. But if your season lands in week four, we do the season first and push the rest back. We’d rather move the plan than hit a milestone that doesn’t help you.
Kemp USA’s pool and rescue season, May through July, carries more than half their year. Two full seasons in, inventory and pricing are planned against that peak instead of reacting to it. Read the case study: Kemp USA.
Frequently asked questions
When should we send inventory to FBA for Q4?
As early as your capacity and fees allow, and before Amazon’s published recommended dates for the year. Treat those as the latest date, not the target.
What happens if we run out on Amazon?
You lose sales right away, and ranking can take weeks to recover after you restock.
How do we avoid FBA storage fees on seasonal products?
Stage inventory in waves, keep a backup warehouse for replenishment, and plan the leftovers before the season ends.
What does it cost?
Inventory and season planning are part of everything we do. No setup fee, no retainer. See how we get paid.
